Rfyre’s Dysis is to die for…

One of my all-time favourite goth designers, Raven Pennyfeather of Rfyre gave me a surprise one day when she dropped off the Rfyre Dysis to me recently. Upon donning the outfit, I was totally swept away by the superbly crafted design of this delicious ensemble that spelt creativity, goth luxe and sophistication.

The mink-like coat with its dark red velvet-like lining was luscious and draped like royalty . Every thread was texturally sumptious that made this ensemble a slinky delight to slip in. From collars, sleeves and pants cuffs, every detail was beautifully brought together to make this piece classy, stylish and commanding.

Here I have worn it in my favourite combinations with or without the cloak and is undoubtedly my favourite suit at the moment with its flexibility to dress up or dress down yet looking immaculately polished.

The outfit comes with an additional inner layer of mesh and belt which you can further dress up to the hilt and is also available in a male version.

AVENUE Models provides proof for SL Models Academy scam

Upon our post about the scam that SL Models Academy did not get away with, they promptly changed the template of their agency blog which was mimicking AVENUE’s. No doubt the template is free for all and that anyone is free and able to use it but the semblances from copying our Academy’s notecard to imitating the agency’s blog was just too close for comfort.

Now, SL Models has issued a “pronouncement” in their latest blog entry which we believe to mean an announcement. In this announcement, SL Models Agency has cried out slander believing an untruth has been issued out in various blogs and namely by our media partners such as Runway Magazine. To set the records straight for everyone, here is the proof we received in the copying of our notecard and curriculum.

Here is AVENUE Models Academy’s notecard for our curriculum and student info and was created by our Vice President Kryptonia Paperdoll:

AVENUE Models Academy Curriculum notecard

AVENUE Models Academy Curriculum notecard

AVENUE Models Academy Curriculum notecard

AVENUE Models Academy Curriculum notecard

And here is SL Models Academy notecard copying our curriculum word for word and making the same claims of AVENUE Models Academy’s instructors from reknowned fashion entities Runway Kidz and Runway magazine and blindly leaving Rusch Raymaker CEO of AVENUE Models Academy inside as a payment contact along with reference of a portfolio shoot with our AVENUE Studio photographer within the course. This card as you can see is signed off by Vanessa Knoller herself, CEO of SL Models Agency and SL Models Academy. And we have included to show you the properties of this same notecard to show you that the creator of the card was by our Academy’s Head Instructor, Kryptonia Paperdoll.

We would have happily settled for a public apology and and a retraction of using our notecard and curriculum. What would have taken us weeks to have worked on has been nonchalantly taken by someone who obviously so indiscriminately have taken and made her own.

So before anyone cries out slander against us or our esteemed business partners may the truth and the evidence speak for itself. Let God as Vanessa Knoller had put it and the rest of us truly be the judge of that.

Last but not least, we would like to thank those that have rallied around us with their support and comforting as they know how hard we work at making AVENUE a professional outfit. We wish to lay this matter to rest after this as we have many big exciting projects to work on and our time and efforts can be put to better use to bring to SL fashionistas new and exciting experiences like never before. To better, bigger and more beautiful things in SL…so stay tuned! :)

SL Models Academy rips off AVENUE Models Academy

It has come to our attention that SL Models Academy has copied and stolen AVENUE Models Academy curriculum and student information wholesale making the same claims to have instructors from Runway Kidz and Runway Magazine. What Vanessa Knoller, Head Instructor of SL Models Academy (and also using the same titles as our Academy) forgot to do was in duplicating the whole Academy Info notecard word for word was to change who to pay to. So it was by chance and a twist of fate that due to a careless copycat and thief that several model trainee applicants came to us with payments for the course.

We wish to announce that there is no association with SL Models Academy who are obviously lying when they say they have the same top models and instructors teaching the course and trying to offer the course for cheap. At AVENUE we are strong perpetrators of originality and preserving the highest levels of quality and professionalism in what we do.

Imitation can only be regarded as the highest form of compliment but let it be known that we have no association with thieves of any kind in SL least of all SL Models Agency which obviously lacks their own ideas and most of all integrity. AVENUE will never support the same for rip offs of designers and any other creators in SL.

Here is Runway Kidz statement to support this report http://runwaykidz.wordpress.com/
